Label Designer Studio
A full label design studio in your browser — drag-and-drop canvas, barcodes and QR codes, variable data from Excel / CSV, auto-serial numbering, and print-ready PDF / PNG / SVG output. Free, and entirely in your browser.
Empty label
Use the Home ribbon or the tool strip on the left to add an object. Tip: double-click a text object to edit it right on the label.
Pick the stock you print on. Sizes shown to scale — the same presets thermal and sheet printers use (Zebra, TSC, Xprinter, Avery).

Auto-number a run of labels — serial numbers, batch codes or tickets. This builds a data set you can bind into any text or barcode with the {serial} field.

Welcome to the Label Designer
Design barcodes, QR codes and labels — then print or export. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Choose a thermal roll, an Avery sheet, a paper size, or enter a custom size. You can also start from a ready template.
Use the Home ribbon or the left tool strip to add a barcode, QR, text, image or shape. Drag to move, drag the handles to resize, double-click text to edit.
On the Data ribbon, import an Excel / CSV file to print one label per row. Map your columns, then build the sheet.
Tip: format long barcode numbers as Text in Excel, or they get corrupted into scientific notation (e.g. 9.19E+12).
Open Print / Preview to page through your labels, then print or save as PDF, PNG, JPG or SVG.
Why this studio
One workspace to design, populate and print labels
Styled QR codes
Custom colours, rounded module styles and an embedded centre logo, with error-correction control so styled codes stay scannable.
Validated barcodes
EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, Code 128, Code 39 and ITF-14 with live check-digit validation, so a mistyped retail code is caught before it prints.
Batch Excel / CSV import
Import a spreadsheet or use the ready-made template, map your columns, and generate a full sheet of labels in one pass.
Print-ready label sheets
A4, A5, Letter, Legal and Avery presets with margins and bleed, exported as print-ready PDF or printed straight from the browser.
PDF, SVG & PNG export
Single codes export as crisp SVG or PNG; sheets export as PDF, PNG, JPG or SVG for print shops and design tools.
Private by design
Everything is generated locally in your browser. Codes, spreadsheets and designs are never uploaded to a server.
FAQ
QR & barcode generator questions, answered
Is the label designer free?
Yes. Designing labels, adding barcodes or QR codes and exporting print-ready sheets are all free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limits imposed by a server.
Are my codes or data uploaded anywhere?
No. Every QR code, barcode and label sheet is generated locally in your browser. Your data, spreadsheets and designs never leave your device.
Which barcode types are supported?
Common retail and logistics formats including EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, Code 128, Code 39 and ITF-14, plus QR codes, and Data Matrix and PDF417 in the Label Designer. EAN/UPC input is validated with live check-digit feedback.
Can I generate barcodes in bulk from Excel or CSV?
Yes. Import an .xlsx or .csv file (or download the ready-made template), map your columns, and generate a full print-ready sheet of labels in one go.
What export formats are available?
Single codes export as PNG or SVG. Label sheets export as print-ready PDF (including Avery layouts), PNG, JPG or SVG, or can be printed directly from the browser.
Can I auto-number labels with serial numbers?
Yes. The Serialization wizard generates a run of sequential codes from a prefix, start number, increment, padding and suffix, then binds them to any text or barcode with the serial field — no spreadsheet required.
